Okuafo AI
Okuafo AI Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 13, 2026
Okuafo AI helps farmers and field teams inspect crop images, review likely disease signals, save scouting records, and organize follow-up work. Assigned field agents can also collect labeled crop samples for quality review. The app provides agricultural decision support. It does not sell personal data and does not use user data for third-party advertising tracking.
Data We Collect
- Account data, including name, email address, Apple or Google account identifier, and profile details when provided by sign-in.
- Crop scan data, including crop type, the original scan image, diagnosis result, confidence values, field notes, and treatment guidance when a user captures, saves, or syncs a scan.
- Field-agent collection data, including assigned crop, selected or proposed class, original photo, optional notes, collection time, sync status, and the account that submitted it.
- Farm records, including field names, boundaries, scouting history, task notes, weather context, and saved recommendations.
- Location data when the user grants permission for field mapping, scouting, or location-aware farm records.
- Voice data when the user chooses to create voice farm logs, including recordings or transcripts needed to create the note.
- Device permission state for camera, photo library, microphone, location, and notifications when the related feature is used.
- Limited account and technical data that Apple, Google, Firebase, Google Cloud, or Google Maps services and SDKs may process when a connected feature is used, including device or app identifiers, coarse location, app usage, crash and performance information, diagnostics, and other technical data.
How We Use Data
We use data to provide crop scanning, on-device diagnosis, connected account sync, field history, farm mapping, task reminders, weather-aware scouting context, AI-generated farm summaries, customer support, security, and product reliability. Field-agent samples are stored in a quarantined review queue for label and quality checks. A submitted image is not automatically added to a model-training dataset or marked training-eligible.
Local And Connected Storage
When no account is signed in, saved scans remain on that device unless the user later chooses a connected feature. When an account is signed in, completed and interrupted scan photos are saved locally and queued for secure account backup. Assigned field agents can choose to sync a sample immediately or keep it queued on the device for later.
Training Review And Consent
Field-agent collection requires an in-app notice and confirmation before capture. Synced scans and field samples remain unreviewed and ineligible for training until a separate authorized quality and label review approves their use. Okuafo AI does not use account photos for advertising or sell them as datasets.
Connected Services
Private field mode can run supported diagnosis flows on the device. Connected features may use Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, Firebase or Google Cloud infrastructure, Google Maps, Okuafo cloud services, and weather data providers. Depending on the feature, device permissions, and provider configuration, their services and SDKs may process the limited account and technical data described above to provide app functionality, protect accounts and services, prevent abuse, diagnose crashes or performance issues, and measure service reliability and usage through service analytics. Okuafo AI does not configure these SDKs for advertising or cross-app tracking, and we do not use this data for advertising tracking. Each provider's handling of data is also governed by its applicable privacy terms.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run Okuafo AI, comply with law, protect users and systems, or respond to support requests.
Retention And Deletion
We keep connected account, scan, field-sample, and farm records for as long as needed to provide the app, support users, meet legal requirements, and maintain security. A signed-in user can start account deletion from the Account section of the app. That process removes the connected account data, synced media, and locally retained records owned by that account. Users can also contact support if deletion does not complete.
